We have tried lot of food trucks before but I don’t think anyone can beat El Jefe’s. Food was Amazing :) tasted very well:) everything had great flavor and tested very well! It had good kick of spice to the food as well:) much much recommended will use him for an event hopefully soon :)
El Jefe’s tacos are better than any restaurant in the Twin Cities! I tried a couple, and immediately went back for more. They treat everyone like family, I’m pretty sure we’re cousins now.

I attended a party and El Jefe's Taco Truck was onsite. The steak tacos hit the spot with enough meat, flavor and were pretty filling. Try the fajitas even if you are full from the steak tacos. Do not over think it just do it...they are amazing!! The Taco Crew was kind, sweet and they understood that one must be fed well at a party :)
Some of the best Mexican food I have had in Minnesota. Owner is extremely nice. The customer is GREAT. I am a picky eater and he had no problem accommodating. I had to come back the next day to try the other items and bring all the family with.
Fantastic tacos, the El Pastor was phenomenal, especially when enjoyed after a long bike ride while admiring a red hot sunset on a rare warm evening in March! 10/10 - I must return to try all the tacos! Love the friendly staff, best moment of 2024 yet
Wow, what a find! I recently saw this taco truck featured in one of @tonycueggroll’s TikTok’s. I tried the steak quesadilla, and I have to say, it was fantastic! The quesadilla was generously filled with juicy, tender steak that was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. Each bite was a delightful combination of melted cheese, flavorful steak, onion, cilantro, and soft, toasted tortilla. The portion size was very generous for the price, making it a great value. The quesadilla was served with a side of spanish rice and red and green sauces. The service was quick and friendly. The food truck itself had a welcoming atmosphere, and I could tell they take pride in their ingredients and preparation. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu. If you're looking for authentic, mouthwatering Mexican food in New Hope, this truck is a must-visit!
Me and my kiddos love coming here!! The food is delicious! We normally get the quesadillas- steak for me and just cheese for the littles. Hugo treats us like queens. We feel so welcome! It truly feels like a fun activity and not just a quick stop for food.
